Brewed on International Women’s Day by the Firkin ladies using the Pink Boots Yamika Chief blend of hops such as Loral and Ekuanot, this super smooth brew drinks like a pale ale. Notes of floral, citrus, and tropical fruit come through, but the late addition of hibiscus adds a tiny bit of tartness and a touch of pink because this is NOT your basic batch! This beer is giving some serious flavor hoptions! Although it is brewed using four different hops-Triumph, Wai-iti, Lemondrop, and Columbus, don’t be fooled….this light, crisp beer drinks somewhat like a modern American pilsner and is most certainly not overwhelmed by the hops. The slightest malty finish can be detected, but is perfectly balanced with the addition of German lager yeast.

Brewed in honor of Mr. Lee Kalsch, owner of the building. Kolsch is a once little known, but delicious traditional German style beer typified by its straw-colored hue and medium body. Despite the fact that a cream ale is a misnomer and does not contain any dairy or cream, does not take away the fact that this beer just kicks ass. Some ingredients include half ale, half lager yeast, Simpson’s golden promise malt and crystal hops however, the real magic is in the fermentation temperature regime.

A crisp, fluffy Pilsner brewed in the classic European style. Almost 100% Pilsner malt gives it that bright, foamy head, while lagering for six weeks makes it crisp and delicious. Noble hops, Hallertau Mitt, and Saaz finish off the traditional style–sure to be a quick Firkin favorite!

Brewed with generous portions of wheat malts and complimented with a touch of crystal malt. Coriander, clove, and citrus peel are added to the boil with a late dry hop of orange-noted hops. Lastly, fresh oranges were juiced in house and added directly into the fermenter, giving this hefe a crisp and citrusy finish. Named for the brewer's grandfather who initially taught him how to brew beer when he was 16. We got more beer, Ozzie.
